This musical nursery headvase planter is an estate find so I'm not sure of its age but they were pretty popular in the 1950's & its, all-over, crazing is a good indication that its quite old...The windup musical instrument is in excellent condition & plays Rock-A-Bye-Baby & is equipped with an on/off switch. It's 5.5" long x 3.5" across & 5" tall & the white, yellow, pink & blue coloring makes it ideal for either a boy or a girl & a nice addition to anyone's headvase collection. These little planters are excellent for small baby accessories such as, cotton balls, brush & comb sets and make darling ornaments in the nursery. It's in clean, very good condition & other than the crazing, I see a tiny nip along the inside edge but no breaks or repairs, certainly nothing drastic to take away from its charm! The sign on the bottom is (I think??) is a signature mark for made in Japan. ***NOTE*** Price is Firm...pick up only, NO delivery, will ship (YOUR COST)! If you're a collector, be sure to check my other ads, I've listed another by Napoware in the shape of a rocking horse that plays the Brahms lullaby!
