Outside Fredericton
This is a beautiful estate find, and I was told that it was very old, but am unable to be more exact. It's solid wood, hand-carved and hand-painted and in excellent vintage condition with very little wear, mostly on the back, and its floral painted motif is near perfect. It's 13.75" diameter with a deeply-grooved designed boarder. I was told, that the center nail-like wood peg, on the back, is usually a good indication, that's it very old and could be nearing 50 years. I don't have the expertise to argue the point but, it's impressive, and would make a wonderful centerpiece!
